The Assumption Co-Cathedral Church in Arera Colony, Bhopal, resonated with solemn prayers and heartfelt tributes as the Christian community gathered to commemorate the life of Pope Francis, the supreme pontiff of the Catholic community. A special requiem Mass was held on 24/04/2025, where attendees remembered the Pope's profound contributions and offered solace for the victims of the recent tragic attack in Pahalgam. Archbishop Durairaj presided over the Mass, reflecting on Pope Francis’s exemplary simplicity and humility. The prayer meeting witnessed a diverse gathering, with individuals from various religious backgrounds joining the Catholic community in paying respects to Pope Francis and remembering the victims of the Pahalgam attack.
