Faithful Gather in Bhopal for Three-Day Bible Mahotsav

Thousands of faithful attended the Bible Mahotsav 2025 oraganised by Archdiocese of Bhopal from September 30 to October 2 at Assumption Co-Cathedral, Bhopal.
The three-day spiritual retreat, guided by the Archbishop Dr. Durairaj SVD, focused on honouring the Word of God, deepening faith, and strengthening unity. Key features included a Bible procession, dynamic preaching (led by Rev. Fr. Jeevan K.D.), fervent prayer, worship, and the Sacrament of Confession. A major highlight was the final-day Thanksgiving Holy Mass marking the Silver Jubilee of four Archdiocesan priests - Fr. Thomas Philip, Fr. Antony Akkanath, Fr. Sibi Joseph and Fr. Michael Sebastian. The Mahotsav concluded with participants renewing their commitment to live out God's Word.
Bible Mahotsav 2025 stood as a testimony to the Archdiocese of Bhopal’s commitment to its mission: “Nourished by Christ, Sent to Serve.” The faithful departed with hearts filled with gratitude and a renewed commitment to carry the Word of God into their families, parishes, and communities.
